Heritage East Association of Residents (HEAR) is committed to preserving and enhancing the beauty, safety, and enjoyment of our neighborhood.
HEAR is having its next general membership meeting in October. All Heritage East residents are invited and encouraged to attend. Date: Thursday, October 20, 2016. Meeting will begin at 7:00pm. with a meet and greet starting at 6:30. Location: North Domingo Baca Multi Generational Centrer. Watch for more details in the upcoming Fall newsletter.
HEAR is having its general membership meeting on Thursday April 21st from 7:00-8:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the Domingo Baca MultiGenerational Center at 7521 Carmel Ave. NE (west of Wyoming, just north of Paseo del Norte). Feel free to arrive at 6:45 if you would like a chance to meet and talk to any of the Board members. All neighborhood residents are encouraged to attend. You can bring a check for $25 if you haven't already renewed your 2016 membership. Light refreshments will be provided.
Today you should have received your 2016 HEAR membership form. Your $25 dues payment for the calendar year of 2016 help cover the costs of our neighborhood security patrols, monthly cleanup work, fees associated with our website, printing and mailing of our neighborhood newsletters and membership reminders and the costs of our twice-yearly general membership meetings.
For the past several years our membership numbers have not been sufficient to cover the costs of our security patrols and we have been able to sustain them because of a surplus in our accounts that built up prior to initiating the patrols. This is not sustainable, and we must increase our membership this year by at least 130 households (out of the 1240 households in our neighborhood) to cover this expense. If we can't do this, we will probably discontinue the patrols. If you value this service (and we've heard from many of you that you do) Please Join Now - Don't Wait.
It's easy to join/renew - just go to our simple online membership page and fill out the online form and either securely pay by credit card or mail your check or money order to the address on the page. If you prefer to print a hardcopy form and mail in your check you can download, print and mail our membership form with your check to the address on the form.

HEAR will have its Fall General Membership Meeting on Thursday October 15, 2015. The meeting will be held at the North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center at 7521 Carmel Ave NE (west of Wyoming, just north of Paseo del Norte). We will hold our election for new Board members. We have 4 individuals rotating off of the board, and will be electing 4 new board members to fill those vacancies. Two of the vacancies are for a two year term, the other two vacancies are to fill the 2nd year of a two year term. Participating on the board is not a time consuming or difficult responsibility.
